How can I sign up for the Starter Tournament?
To participate in the starter tournament, you must fill out the registration form below. Participation is completely free.
When is the tournament taking place?
The next beginner’s tournament will take place from July 16 to July 20 (European time). During this time, you’ll receive a link to the quiz portal via email, and you can start and finish at any time.
What requirements do I need to meet to participate?
The Starter Tournament is open to all esports enthusiasts, even those with no prior experience with Excel.
The case study is available in English, Spanish, French, Chinese (simplified), Portuguese, German, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, and Tagalog.
How does the prize draw work at the Starter Tournament?
If you successfully participate in the beginners‘ tournament, you’ll have a chance to win great prizes. We’ll hold a drawing among all participants who score at least 1,000 points (80%) to award ten one-hour sessions of personalized Excel/Excel Esports training with a real Excel expert.

Rules for the drawing
The organizer of the drawing is Financial Modelling DACH as part of the EXCEL-ESPORTS DACH Starter Tournament.
Eligible to participate are individuals who have properly registered for the Starter Tournament and are participating in the competition.
The contest takes place as part of the respective Starter Tournament as announced. The tournament dates published on this page are binding.
All participants who score at least 1,000 points (= 80%) in the tournament will be entered into the drawing.
Ten one-hour sessions of personalized Excel/Excel Esports training will be raffled off among all qualified participants. Cash payment, exchange, or transfer of the prize to third parties is not permitted. The sessions will be conducted in English and is subject to availability.
Winners will be selected at random after the tournament ends and notified via the email address provided during registration. If a selected winner does not respond within 14 days, a new drawing may be held.
The personal data collected during registration will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the tournament and the giveaway, as well as for contacting the winners. Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy.
